The ISU Department of Animal Science owns 45+ horses consisting of Paints, Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds. All young horses are sold as weanlings, yearlings or two-year olds. Offering the get and services of: Ive Paid My Dues (AQHA), Bearly Hot (APHA), Think Im Hot (APHA), and Bravo Bull (TB). The breeding herd of horses is maintained in the Department of Animal Science at Iowa State University for teaching, extension and research purposes.
